Notes according to the battery law and electrical law

The following notice is aimed at those who use batteries or products with built-in batteries and no longer resell in the form delivered to them (end user):

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return old batteries so that proper disposal can be guaranteed.

You can hand in used batteries at a municipal collection point or at a local retailer.
As a distributor of batteries, we are also obliged to take back used batteries, whereby our take-back obligation is limited to used batteries of the type
which we carry or have carried as new batteries in our range. You can therefore either return used batteries of the aforementioned type to us with sufficient postage
or hand them in free of charge directly to our dispatch warehouse at the following address:

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed out wheelie bin.
This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries that contain more than 0.0005 percent by mass of mercury, more than 0.002 percent by mass of cadmium or more than 0.004 percent by mass of lead
contain, the chemical designation of the pollutant used is located under the garbage can symbol
- "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead, and "Hg" for mercury. "

 

Electrical and electronic devices must not be disposed of with household waste. Owners of old devices can hand them in within the scope of the return or collection of old devices set up and available by public waste disposal authorities, so that proper disposal of old devices is ensured. If necessary, it is also possible to hand in electrical and electronic equipment there for the purpose of reusing the equipment.

End users can have small appliances up to 25 cm (longest side) disposed of by us in household quantities. Larger old devices can only be taken back and properly disposed of when purchasing a new electrical or electronic device of the same type that essentially fulfills the same functions as the new device. When concluding the purchase contract for the new electrical and electronic device, the end user must inform us of his intention that an old device should be returned when the new device is delivered.
